About a "so called" movie Sivakasi

I am really very happy (but mentally frustrated) to meet you all once again via a review about a Tamil movie.

Well, if there is any possibility of conversion to another race definitely I am the first one in this world to undergo sampling. I felt humiliated to be a Tamilian after watching the “so called” movie Sivakasi, staring Vijay. (I have one very good policy, normally I do not watch movies thru VCD but I would love to watch this kind of movies since this is one of my small contributions for destruction of Tamil film industry.)

Last week I went to theater to watch a movie named “Cheran’s Thavamai Thavamirundhu” I am not going to comment anything about that movie because I do not think that I am capable of commenting such a fabulous movie. In order to promote such films, I forced most of my friends to watch that movie in theater.

Let me finish what I start for, when I start watching the movie Sivakasi I felt sometime whether I have been watching some Telegu-style movies. From the start to the end full of heroism worship, not even a single frame was dedicated to the story (well, I am sorry, we should have invited Mr. Bond to search the story in that film)

I do not know why these peoples are shooting these types of movies, is Mr. Vijay really trying to portrait himself as another MGR or simply he is trying to earn the sympathies of village peoples, by targeting village character as easiest (cheapest, of course) to reach them.

I would have been very happy if the film was rated as flop but it was declared it is moderate hit movie for Vijay. This makes to reassess myself as a normal moviegoer.

I do not have any vengeance with Vijay but I feel that he is trying to pull down the youths of Tamil to third class level by depicting them as low class worker, lawless, rowdies, etc…

Can’t the director or the actor really pick good character from Tamil Nadu to make a theme on it, well if they want to go by commercial, then do not use the tactics of attracting or sympathizing village peoples……
Still to come…..
